Audley Group has promoted two senior managers to the retirement village builder’s executive board.

It has appointed development director Philip Rolfe and Sian Hammer, who becomes group sales and marketing director, to these posts.

The firm, founded in 1991, runs 20 villages for the elderly across the UK under the luxury Audley and mid-market Mayfield brands.

The sites include a library, a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool and a health club, as well as flexible support and care services.

The business says Rolfe will be responsible for the predevelopment and construction of the group’s new villages.

He joined the business three years ago, before having worked the firm for many years and “has an extensive track record in the retirement living sector,” the company says.

It adds that Hammer joined Audley in 2021 and leads sales and marketing operations across both Audley and Mayfield villages.

Audley Group chief executive Nick Sanderson adds: “Having the right people to define and then deliver a vision for the future of Audley Group across both development and operations is essential.  Sian and Phil will help us do just that and drive forward the work that is already underway.”
