Legal & General Mortgage Club has expanded its leadership team, appointing Michelle Westley as propositions manager and Stephen Nobes as key relationship manager.

Westley joins from Brightstar, where she was head of marketing for the specialist distributor. Nobes joins from Tembo Money where he was head of partnerships.

Westley over 25 years of industry experience in specialist finance, sales and marketing. In this new role she will review and implement changes to Legal and General Mortgage Club’s propositions, working with lenders, brokers, and non-contracted members to ensure L&G is meeting the evolving needs of their businesses. This is a new position created to give this business area specific attention.

Meanwhile Nobes will look to expand the club’s new business while developing strategic relationships with key decision makers at financial advisory firms.

Both Westley and Nobes will report into Zara Bray who has been promoted to head of broker and propositions. Bray has  at L&G Mortgage Club for 18 years and in this new role will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with several key intermediary firms.

Legal & General Mortgage Club director Clare Beardmore says these appointment will help the mortgage club support its broker and lender customers in what’s recently been a challenging market.

“We’re heavily investing in the future of the mortgage club and are excited to see these additions boost our ongoing support for brokers.”
