Together has hired Andrew Douglas as its new national account manager for networks and clubs.

Douglas’ key role will be to help launch the specialist lender’s networks and clubs adviser portal by the end of the year by “building and deepening relationships” with its partners.

He previously worked for Clydesdale Bank and Virgin Money for two-and-a-half years, leaving as a business development manager across both brands earlier this year.

Prior to that, he worked for Nationwide for over six years, also leaving as a business development manager in 2018.

Together head of networks and clubs Nick Parker says: “Our network and club partners are hugely important to us, and we are pleased to be able to hire top industry talent to help support our work with them.

“We are working on building a networks and clubs channel that underpins our core strengths in common sense lending and hope to see this launch very soon.

“Andrew’s wealth of experience and talent will play a key role in helping us to deliver a broker-centric proposition that supports our long-term growth strategy.”

Douglas adds: “I’m pleased to be able to raise awareness around the wider opportunities and benefits specialist lending can present to advisors, helping them in turn to deepen their own client relationships.”
