Culture isn’t what you say. It’s what you do

Culture starts with leadership, is tested in hiring, and lives in daily actions. It begins with leaders who model expectations; not just through what they say, but through what they reward and what they allow. What leaders consistently demonstrate becomes the standard; what they tolerate becomes the norm. At HousingWire, we often reference being both a “coach and a player,” and that concept is foundational. Leadership isn’t about setting expectations from a distance; it’s about embodying them in real time.
